Assist the Story Producers with pre-interviewing and booking family, friends, detectives, etc for interviews, research real complex investigations for episodes, facilitate research and outreach for news footage, police reports, crime scene photos, and other factual elements for the edit, assist in writing character descriptions for the casting agency, fact check scripts, and various other tasks to help the production team stay on track.

Handle all the logistics of a video team’s small or large/complex videos. Duties include: handling budgets for producer’s on my team, maintaining archives, scheduling PAs, scheduling meetings, processing vendor paperwork, sending out call sheets, processing petty cash and forwarding to accounting, helping videos stay on track for delivery.

Assist the Director of Branded Entertainment as well as the CEO of company. Duties include: setting schedules, coordinating correspondence, answering phones, organizing invoices, writing treatments, creating storyboards, and creating budget and estimates. During productions, act as the Associate Producer, which includes supporting producers and crew.

I operated the teleprompter, ordered and picked up lunch for the talent and crew, assisted on set by making sure everything was clean, and assisted talent when needed.

I assisted the producer by doing research on hotels, restaurants, rental equipment, and catering. I assisted on set by running errands, doing lockups, and general production assistant duties.

I assisted the producers by running errands, making phone calls, food preparation, driving them to different destination around Chicago, and I took a leadership role with the other production assistants.

I assisted the producers with budgeting, securing locations, getting permits, getting insurance, shopping for props, running errands, and overseeing extras while on set.

I produced video tutorials for the Assessor’s office by hiring actors, securing locations, shopping for props, overseeing crew while on set, and delivering footage to the editor.
