Jacinta Bowen

I assisted documentary and indie filmmaker, Pearl Gluck, on her production set for her short narrative, "Castles in the Sky." I worked as a production assistant with other fellow film students and film professionals. I was a part of the assistant director's department that was responsible for assisting the actors.

I assisted the YouTube star, Shameless Maya, on daily social media posts on Instagram and YouTube. I took photos of the team’s daily tasks/creations within the office. I completed daily tasks throughout the office including office organization, setting up social media before it’s sent out, researching current news relevant to the production’s brand, and shot flat lay for sponsored products.

I handled script coverage to give my opinion on stories that have been written and sent to the company. I completed daily tasks throughout the office including phone operation and assisted the employees for office and guest meetings.

I photographed and filmed engineering students and faculty during events and shooting videos for interviews. I handled post-production for the office's footage to create high-quality videos for the College of Engineering’s publications, social media, and supporting related websites. I generated marketing ideas targeting engineering students and supporting related activities.

I assisted the manager by aiding communication majors with required equipment for their projects. I completed daily tasks including organizing inventory, properly operating, and lifting equipment.

I assisted the manager by helping students learn and work on editing their video projects. I edited on Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Lightroom Classic CC, and Adobe After Effects CC.

I registered incoming freshmen to be admitted into Penn State York. I completed a variety of projects throughout the office including filing, inquiry, phone operation, and touring incoming students on campus as a New Student Orientation Leader.
