I produce videos and other multimedia to support CFR's educational projects, which primarily involves writing scripts about complex foreign policy-related concepts for a general audience, producing interviews with experts and former government officials, and directing editors and animators in designing striking visuals that make complicated ideas more intuitive.

As an Associate Producer for NBC's Early Today, I produced domestic and international news stories under tight deadlines, including in breaking news situations. This involved writing the anchor's script, cutting video/audio elements, as well as ideating and ordering graphics. I researched my story subjects thoroughly and adhere to strict journalistic standards.

As the Cross-Platform Content Coordinator, I had a wide array of responsibilities to facilitate MSNBC's documentary and non-fiction series; however, I mainly acted as an Associate Producer on our in-house political documentaries. This involved booking interviews and conducting pre-interviews, coordinating shooting locations and travel logistics, finding archival and new footage. I also traveled with producers to assist on field interviews and acquired primary footage of political events. Back at the office, I would edit, fact-check, and rewrite scripts. Many projects required extensive research, including FOIA requests and cultivating sources. Additionally, I often used the adobe creative suite (photoshop, premiere, after effects) to create visual content for editorial, promotional, and internal communications purposes.
