Hired to produce viral pieces to place on affiliate YouTube channels to increase sales and brand awareness.

Launched video tutorials achieving over 45,000 views via YouTube in the first week. • Involved with strategic planning on the consumer tech covered for various partnerships with Amazon and Samsung. • Wrote, produced tutorials and comparison pieces on the Amazon Echo, smart wearable Lumo Lift and the UDI 818A HD+ drone. • Implemented a release schedule of tech videos to coincide with holidays and seasonal changes to maximise views and promotion.

• Anchored, wrote, shot and produced the millennial news segment “What Next.” As well as reaching out to potential clients for advertising spots. • Reported, wrote and produced pieces on the city’s hospitality and food industry, including packages on 500 new clean food trucks, new curb side dog laws for restaurants, and a look inside a Williamsburg bespoke ice cream parlour. • Tracked budget management of all segments and implemented a streamlined production process

• Wrote daily stories spanning tech, business, humour and opinion, on topics ranging from Hanksy and New York’s shifting street art culture to New York’s first “cat café,” the Meow Parlour. • Sourced and identified stories before they hit the mainstream through social media, Reddit, Google Trends, Buzzfeed, Facebook, Twitter. • Implement SEO headlines over the sites social media accounts on Twitter, Instagram and Reddit.

• Lead Reporter/Producer of writing, producing major segments AlleyWire Inspire and Alley On the Street, looking at inspiring business that help others in need, man-on-the-street styled pieces asking off the cuff questions. • Created content partnerships with companies such as Verizon, featured on AlleyWire Inspire for their inspiring application helping veterans assimilate into civilian life. • Produced, shot and edited pieces on New York City’s innovative tech and startup scene, including features on restaurant payment company Cover, ethical e-commerce site Soko, and a personal catering start-up Cater Cow. • Represented AlleyWire at various conferences, seminars and mixers in an effort to increase awareness of the new tech platform. This in-person effort was coupled with my co-management of the company’s main social media channels.
