Operating the kinetic "C" camera all on a RS2 gimbal, long lens, capturing layered images with fun camera moves in slow motion and real speed. Fun job, gave me a chance to explore moving images without any restraint.

Commercial for a new craft brewery that drew inspiration from Indiana Jones to tell the company's story while also capturing action sports like mtn biking, rock climbing, and paragliding. Good fun working with a solid team, who all delivered to help make exciting images that we can enjoy while having a nice frothy when it's all said and done.

Keeping it sharp! Among other typical 1st ac duties. Collaborating with my 2nd ac to support the dp and dir in capturing the shots they desire while performing duties swiftly and effortlessly. Shot on a Sony Venice with the AXS-R7 recorder and Atlas Orion anamorphics. One of my favorite builds as a 1st, definitely one the of the heavier builds out there too, but well worth it for perfect balance.

Spent 2 weeks with Vice capturing stories of two characters for the show I Was A Teenage Felon in Phoenix and Albuquerque. 3x cameras, 2x Fx9 and 1x Fx6. We had a zoom call setup for the director to tune in and setup via ipad in an eye-direct so talent could see our remote interviewer with ease and got it as close to an in person connection as we could. We had a blackmagic switcher so we could cycle between each camera for quick approvals to the remote team. Small crew but all great and hard working.

2 cameras, Alexa Mini and Phantom Flex A whole bunch of lenses, k35 zoom, 12:1 Angenieux, Canon FD rehoused primes. Swapping between cameras living on a fisher dolly on 200ft of track, a western dolly, and a golf cart for higher speed tracking shots. Fun day out in the sun.
