Jesse Acini

I served as creator and writer for this independent, comedy web series. Responsibilities included writing four episodes of episodic content, securing shoot locations and casting. Good Cop was nominated for three Channel 101 "Channy Awards" including Best Show.

As a Writer and Actor for the Magnet Theater's house sketch team "Adults" I contributed comedic sketches to our monthly show. "Adults" were an Official Selection of the 2016 Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival.

As a Director in the Magnet sketch writing program I direct the theater's longest running house team, "Stockton". Responsibilities include acting as Director, Head Writer/Show Runner for their monthly show. I also directed their hour long revue "The Fundamentals" in the Summer of 2015. "Stockton" is an Official Selection of the Montreal Sketch Fest, New York Sketch Fest, Charm City Comedy Festival and the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival.

As a member of four UCB-NY house sketch teams my responsibilities included writing comedic sketches for monthly shows. Over the course of my run I staged ninety original comedy sketches and appeared in the New York Comedy Festival.

As Writer for a UCB-NY house sketch team my script "Polchek Subs", a commercial parody, was one of the first productions by UCB Comedy.com
