AC/Media Manager role: As the Utility on Live Rescue, It was my responsibility to ensure encoded/encrypted video footage was suitable for streaming during live broadcast.
Installed Transmitters on Z150s; as well as 4G transmitter/recorders within first responder vehicles to transmit driver and POV feeds over 4G networks live. Maintaining/setup/troubleshoot cameras, team communications, routers/switchers/array/recorders within vehicles with minimal presence of our tools to not hinder first responders and ground crew. Updated and maintained cameras and data for both day and night shifts. Offloaded footage via ShotPutPro onto master and prepared and encrypted shipped shuttle drives, as well as updating footage reports for the post team in NY. My role on this project was predominately on-call, filling in for technicians in various cities requiring me to be extra adaptive and accommodating of preexisting field workflows; while also coordinating with field teams on better field practices in a dynamic show where minimal rigging time for advanced builds was our primary obstacle.
