Frequently filled in for full-time Senior Producer, supervising staff of correspondents, producers, associate producers, editors and studio crew. Control room producer for live Western Region updates of Nightly News.

Wrote, researched, interviewed and oversaw shooting and editing of long form and short form stories. Directed multi-camera field shoots with production teams consisting of associate producers, crews and talent. Quickly synthesized complex subjects into compelling narratives. Covered true crime, major fires, plane crashes, earthquakes, politics and other high-profile stories.

Spent six months traveling across America with MSNBC Anchor Chris Jansing, producing live and tape segments on the Presidential campaign including conventions and debates.
