While at KRDO, I developed and assured the execution of marketing plans designed to increase the audience and revenue of company properties. I have a strong understanding and ability to interpret broadcast ratings and station research to create compelling promos. I am a hands-on manager with the talent and technical skills needed to write, produce, direct and edit local TV creative projects. I executed and managed departmental budgets to assure the efficient cost affective execution of marketing plans and company goals. I managed the daily broadcast log to ensure the best placement of marketing materials. I directed the design and creation of logos, slogans and various other branding elements to support the goals of marketing plans. I directed the design and creation of on-air spots, long-form videos, online formats, print materials and materials for other media in support of these marketing plans. I worked closely with News, Sales and other departments as necessary to assure the design and delivery of effective promotional, marketing and sales materials. I negotiated and was a buyer of outside media. I oversaw company sponsorship and involvement in outside events. I also directed and managed the creative and technical excellence of promo staff in support of the company goals.
