Monitor six broadcast channels to ensure scheduled programs air on time. Test, queue, and launch reporters’ videos for live nightly newscast. Create community event calendars and kids promos.

Help with public requests via phone or in person, process mail, assist Accounting Manager by sorting, totaling and recording incoming membership, underwriting, and other payments, assist Director of Development with membership data, mailing and coordinate quarterly pledge drives, and write closed captions for locally produced programming under the Legacy department. Assist other departments with requests as needed.

As student Station Manager, I maintained TV schedule daily playlist and logs, coordinated with students to produce weekly broadcasts, and taught students how to operate cameras/floor direct, teleprompter, audio, technical direct using Tricaster 860, as well as roles such as anchoring and field reporting.

Broadcast BSU football and basketball games using Tricaster 410, ran graphics, commercials, and created replays; remotely ran master control, and technical director and co-producer. Taught students how to run cameras, switcher, graphics, replays and commercials.

Evening closed captioning position help Sports Director find and post regional sports scores, help Technical Director with any pre-production work needing to be finished, and monitor closed captions and run teleprompter during live newscast.
