I was closely involved with my university's film club throughout my time at college, acting as treasurer, secretary, VP, and then president. I managed club funds and credit card, organized and scheduled meetings, was the main point of contact, recruited members, introduced new members and visitors to the club and encouraged their involvement. I helped new students write their scripts and be in their first film production. I created a welcoming environment. And most of all I organized everything. I archived films, scripts, meeting agendas, etc. and made them available and organized on Google Drive.
Summary

I helped organize the annual Thaw Out Film Festival. I scheduled the meetings, delegated tasks, ordered supplies, contacted people, reserved the space, created flyers, and organized a lot. It was a lot of people management practice. And it went spectacular!

4/19 – 7/19
I was the main point of contact for actors, crew, and people involved in the production. I organized and created the shooting schedule, meetings, contact sheets, and put it all neatly in a Google Drive folder. I am really proud of how I organized this production. I worked with the cinematographer to calculate ahead of time the position of the sun for certain scenes (the Alaskan sun moves fast and changes day-to-day!) I created call sheets and sent them to crew and actors. I was as busy on set as I was off. I kept us on-schedule during shooting and on-budget. I was the director's right hand man; helping answering questions and managing/directing crew. I felt my best skills really shine through my role on this project.

Content Manager (Media Producer)
Staff Position — UAF eCampus Details
2/18 – 2/19
I manage the recording studio, which is a 3-camera set-up, with the potential to live green screen and edit with blackmagic controllers, and a sound proof booth. I closely communicate with clients on executing their vision; direct and coach those new to being on camera. I create online educational content through every step of the production process. Educational content includes promotional videos, short animated content, extensive virtual field trips, and talking-head video lectures. Generate content both independently and in collaboration with the media team. Depending on the project, I will direct the crew and on-camera presenter, operate cameras, log and organize media, edit video and audio, incorporate client's and media team’s feedback, upload and send to client.
