Communicate directives from director Brandon Osterman to grip, electrical departments. Basic camera rigging (DSLR, GoPro), equipment transport.

I was assigned to Director Sharon Lewis for the duration of the shoot. I was in charge of keeping her wireless monitors and comlinks running, taking notes during shoots for continuity, post-production, etc. and transporting equipment and talent/crew between locations. Also aided in art department/set design.

MARAMASO is a documentary that chronicles the up and coming musician Nelson Mandela Akiello's role in guiding Kenyans toward peace and away from tribalism and violence during Kenya's elections in February 2013. Small indie production, I shot everything on a Canon 600D and recorded all audio on a Zoom H4N.

For this FunnyorDie.com sketch, I handled lighting schematics and setups for a basement heist-planning scene as well as a dramatic flashback scene. I rigged a dolly out of an assistant and a wheelchair.

As an intern for SCG, I did everything from working on set as a production assistant, to shooting B-roll on site as a second unit director, to logging footage to actual editing of a pilot episode of "Paid Programming", a comedy show shot for spec for Adult Swim.
