TAR 5-32 Managed all aspects of concurrent multi-episode international production facilitation, risk management and complex insurance and compliance issues for CBS television’s 15-time Emmy Award-winning worldwide reality competition series that traveled throughout 8-10 countries per cycle in under 24 days. • Sourced and forged partnerships with foreign facilitators in over 55 countries, and maintained relationships to successfully produce each program under live, constantly fluid conditions and tight deadlines across multiple time zones • Negotiated fees, production service agreements and required local contracts with international service providers, as well as USA domestic agreements • Consulted and collaborated daily with Producers/Field Producers regarding all aspects of each host country episode production, while troubleshooting challenges • Determined episode production budget allocations, initiated and managed up to 12 international six figure budgets for as many as 10 countries simultaneously, while maintaining overall show financial parameters • Evaluated foreign currency exchange rates, recommended budget adjustments preventing potential overages • Approved, initiated and oversaw timely funding for facilitators • Tracked actual vs. budgeted costs, monitoring for potential overages; reconciled foreign facilitator vendor episode expenses and reported to EP/EIC and show accountant • Created foreign cost overviews for total show budget accounting, as well as legal due diligence reports and insurance compliance overviews to inform network and production executives of status, additions/deletions, and potential risks • Analyzed and advised network risk manager of production challenge events, related insurance exposures to loss and potential supplemental insurance needs • Reviewed and approved foreign facilitators' liability, property, and worker's comp policies, including high risk event coverage to ensure required company / network insurance compliance; reviewed domestic vendor contract insurance language and coordinated with network to ensure network coverage adequately met contractual requirements • Sourced, recommended and made decisions regarding supplemental international policy coverage and purchasing in support of network requirements • Troubleshot compliance issues directly with network risk management and their insurance brokers • Secured and verified as current all licenses, certifications, and related due diligence documentation for all high risk event safety experts, aircraft, watercraft, auto, etc., for timely submission to network • Reported and managed insurance claims with network risk management team
