I used Avid 6 to ingest footage, organize bins, sync sound, edit the short, mix and edit audio, then roundtrip between Avid and DaVinci for color grading and finally After Effects for title credits.

In pre-production I took shot lists and the schedule to create an effective shooting order. During production I created and distributed call sheets, completed Exhibit G forms, daily production reports, and provided the crew with sides. Each day I ran the set safely and productively and the production ran smoothly.

Shot both interiors and exteriors for a span of two weeks. I organized a team of three people underneath me (best boy grip and two grips) in order to execute the DP's wishes.

This was a low budget production for which I completed almost all of the post production work myself. My process for editing this short involved: transcoding and ingesting footage, syncing sound, editing, mixing audio, color grading, opening/ending credits, animating the title card using After Effects, and exporting through compressor.

Was the first assistant camera man for the RED one for a thesis short film.

Ingested footage into Avid and had to quickly produce a rough cut due to a fast paced schedule. I then worked closely with the artist and producer to produce a finished product that everyone was pleased with. Color grading was completed in DaVinci Resolve 9.

Worked underneath the gaffer alongside other lighting technicians to rig lights in both on a sound stage for part of the shooting and on location for the other half of shooting. We shot all day interiors and lit with mostly 4x4 and 2x4 bank kino flos.
