Madeline Radman
Series Producer
A true creative that's never afraid of a challenge, J.A. has taken on wardrobing and art direction for some of the most challenging projects I've worked on. We've worked together to create a variety of scenes ranging from a 1970s period piece featur ...MORE...
ing 20 children on a bus to an epic weather storm in colonial days. J.A. always exceeds expectations by bringing to the table his own keen sense of style as well as visual understanding of time and place. In addition to his talent, he's hardworking and a joy to have on set, always pitching in whenever and wherever he can.
- Madeline was Director and J.A. was Art Director on House of Horrors: Kidnapped (ID), American Supernatural (TWC)
David Erickson
Showrunner
We already miss J.A. Prim! He recently left the DC area where he had earned himself a reputation as *the* go-to guy for art direction on set. Showrunners would fight over who gets to have Prim on their projects. He's worked a variety of shows, from h ...MORE...
orror/supernatural to crime/suspense, and elevated the look of every production of which he was a part. I thought his work on "Cursed: The Bell Witch" (A&E) was particularly noteworthy, as he effectively recreated a supernatural story set in 1820s Tennessee, improvising many ideas in the moment on set. I particularly loved the web of voodoo dolls made of straw and twine he strung together on set. He's also highly resourceful when it comes to sourcing period appropriate props, such as the teletype machine he acquired for an early-1980s crime show. In addition, Prim has also worked as a PA/Associate Producer on a number of crime shows, and he's thoughtful and pays attention to detail -- plus, he has extensive set experience and is good with a wide variety of people, and a pleasure to work with.
- David was Showrunner and J.A. was Art Director on Who Killed Jane Doe; Cursed: The Bell Witch; The Perfect Suspect
Chris Sandstrom
Producer
Prim is one of my absolute favorite people to work with. Always the person I could rely on the most on set. He is very much a “jack of all trades” kind of guy. I would be confident in him handling any task in pre production and on set. Although t ...MORE...
here is one area he really excels in, art direction/set design. The things he comes up with while working with minimal resources always amazes me. I really can’t think of a more useful person on set.
- Chris was Associate Producer and J.A. was Art Director on Jane Doe Diaries 1
