Raine Talley

Joined forces with other Drexel students to broadcast the show Story Medicine for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia patients. Pushed myself out of my comfort zone to do live sound for all of the Story Medicine shows each week. Worked with critically ill patients in the hospital on an animation project, helping them tell their stories and think creatively.

Worked with children at the local elementary school helping them tell their stories through video while teaching them how to use cameras and sound equipment. Managed and carried out interviews with artists and performers at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Filmed and edited short promotional videos for artists and completed them on a daily basis. Organized a writers’ group, bringing together writers from all different forms of entertainment including playwrights, television writers, and novelists.

Wrote script and novel summaries for the creative director in a timely manner and with attention to detail. Collaborated with DMG creative team on script projects and brand building. Assisted with office management on a daily basis, including responding to phone calls and managing CEO’s schedule.

Aided head of the Youth Department with clients and helped decide which new clients to take on. Acted as the liaison with child actors and made sure their needs were met. Monitored client paperwork to ensure accurate filing and organization.

Searched archival videos and photographs for PBS docuseries The Contenders 16 for 16. Brainstormed with directors and editors on storylines for episodes. Organized Excel documents and other production papers to be used daily by the crew.
