Mostly helping the AD on Set, placing and giving direction to background. switching up the background and making sure the correct background is in each scene pending order and continuity. Also I was operating slate since the AC's were needed elsewhere.

Communicate with cast and crew, make sure they were aware and comfortable with the tasks assigned to them. Helping the Director run set via constant communication with each dept to keep on schedule. Working closely with he DP to ensure zero time wasted and everyone's happiness.

Two months of pre-production, breaking down/color coding the script, talking with talent for availability, scouting locations, wardrobe with producers and 1st AD. Myself and my PA's also helped art dept. create an amazing set from the 1920's prohibition era.

Helping the 2nd AD to make sure all of the cast/talent for specific scenes were ready, through makeup/wardrobe and fully prepared for the next scene that was next on the call sheet. Also making sure all talent were happy, and had sufficient crafty/refreshments.

Manage cast and crew off set behind the scenes for the 1st AD on set. I handled Production Reports, Call Sheets, Exhibit G's for SAG actors, delegated responsibilities to PA's, helped producers with cast and crew contracts and paper work and also managed PC(Petty Cash) and organized receipts.

A Good AD must know every other dept. so I helped camera dept. and learned the importance of lenses handling, holding a steady cam, setting up a jib, setting focus marks on camera/actor marks, I can be inside the head of the DP to run a set more efficiently.

Manage and delegate responsibilities to the PA's, with set setting up/breaking down, walkie distro, crafty/lunch setup, and fire-watch at G&E truck since our location was in a dangerous location. Being on top of every problem or issue needed fixing on and off set.

This was a smaller crew, so my duties encompassed more than your average feature. On top of making the call sheets every day and making sure set ran smoothly, our sound guy quit half way through, and I was asked to add that job to my duties.

help out where ever needed, G & E, art dept, setting up, carrying equipment from trucks to set, Fire-watch, crafty/lunch detail. making sure the crew and cast constantly had refreshments, and hot coffee to keep warm.
