Design and produce map animations for a feature documentary about the politics behind Seattle’s freeway system. The client wanted a set of matching map animations to help orient viewers to the names and locations of Seattle’s various freeways. The look she was going for was not period-specific, but needed it to read as historical. Using an archival map the client provided, I created several animations that showed the progress of the freeways and which neighborhoods they traversed.
