Wrote and Directed a 9hr class about how to create cinematic 360 video in post production to teach clean up artists professional workflows for immersive video.

I worked with Thatch Films to help them produce this 8 minute immersive 360 documentary for the Atlas Network. I helped consult and plan the production, then followed through in post to manage the edit, cleanup and the design of a multi person VR theater for exhibiting the project at conferences and events.

Captured and cleanup of high resolution 360 background plates of Chicago locations using an Obsidian Pro camera for use in Virtual Production and driving plate libraries. Work included static tripod locations and driving plates captured with a car mount.

BRC had completed the installation of a new fully automated exhibit about the life of Leonard Bernstein. We captured the full experience in Immersive 360 VR to document the experience and provide a promo tool for BRC. The project was filmed in stereoscopic on the Titan 360 camera.

Director and Producer for two episodes for the arts immersion project Freedom In Expression. We captured the artist Sentrock working in Chicago and filmed the all female mariachi band Las Azaleas performing around Tucson. The two episodes will be used to introduce middle school students to the arts and the life of being an artist.

Due to COVID safety concerns, I performed all of the duties required to record audio and video for social media spots for the company. -Setup a portable recording booth for audio interview to be used in radio spots -Directed non-actors to record video of them performing their jobs and capturing various b-roll required to tell the story of their business -Managed collecting releases and contracts

Filmed a tour of a corporate office in 360 to be used for recruiting and marketing purposes.

As part of the #EveryChildCounts campaign for Wallgreens, I worked with the team from Townhouse to do a very quick cut down of the footage from one of the cameras to create a string out for news outlets.

Coming back for the fourth year to be the video producer at the Electric Forest, I was faced with a new challenge of extending the production from one weekend to now cover two weekends. Due to the remote nature of the festival grounds we had to design an economical plan to bring the crew up on site and also push ourselves creatively. This year we decided to bring on a super high speed camera package to shoot a series of high concept, stylized pieces of content to raise our videos to the next level.

I was the editor for a short documentary about the Strongpoint Theinert Ranch, a non-profit organization based in southern New Mexico that brings in military veterans to help them strengthen, transition and reconnect. We helped produce this video to tell their story and help the organization raise $300,000 to build a new bunkhouse on the property.

I was the rotoscope artist and compositor on the clean up for the Fiat VR/360 commercial. The video was shot in stereo using the Nokia OZO camera. I did a stereo rotoscope to cut out the car and place a mountain in the background with proper parallax, removed signs and wires and did paint cleanup to remove tripods and other distractions.

I designed the original concept, the goal was to make each frame like a Caravaggio portrait with strong single source lighting. I created a mount to place the camera (a C300) on its side to shoot the video in portrait mode. I also lit and edited the video.
