Production Assistant: Greeking, releases, meal runs, talent assistant Story: Monitor three camera and audio lines, follow contestants and plot and cohesively record all action and events during the entire filming day. Created a synopsis as well as filling in highlights and judging results.

Office PA: Delegated tasks to 35+ Production Assistants, distributed and tracked 100 walkie talkies and headsets, organized and instructed production assistants regarding new hire paperwork and timecards, maintained crafty and kitchen supplies, organized production office supplies, handled petty cash and reimbursements, set up talent green room.

Field PA: Ran errands and craft services, was in charge of receipts and petty cash, ran dummy checks, took care of releases, assisted with loading/unloading of equipment, setting up OTF interviews, staging, location scouting, assisting with lighting

I discovered breaking stories, ensuring they aired before our local competitors. I also facilitated logistics between departments, including remote satellite vans and bureaus. I frequently ed the assignment desk weekend nights, developing stories and shaping broadcasts.

Development and Operations Intern

I helped develop a more efficient system of archiving and indexing tapes for future retrieval, as well as praised by department heads for providing key support within moments-long deadlines. I also volunteered and helped develop a second production assistant position for The Situation Room.
