AJ was fantastic. I had a complicated request for a job that neither of us were local too, hence no ability to scout. Furthermore, I would not be able to be on-site during his shooting. I was also very tied up leading up to the shoot. AJ did a great ...MORE...
job of staying in contact and reaching out to me to make sure that he had all the information he needed to get the best and most appropriate footage for our story. He took the initiative on that.
Logistics were complicated as AJ was shooting footage of a commuter train from various locations. He had to coordinate locations with the timing of the trains and position of sun, etc. He handled it all very well and stayed in close communication. He was sensitive and responsive to various client concerns about the filming process.
And the footage is excellent. Very talented operator that knows what he is doing.

AJ is a fantastic drone pilot. With drones becoming more and more popular it's been hard to find someone who isn't simply a hobbyist with a new toy. AJ is a true professional.
The first time I work with AJ was shooting massive ships offshore i ...MORE... n the Gulf of Mexico for a week. He was FAA certified and had insurance. He also showed up with not just one, but several PRO level drones. And because we were offshore shooting with a big client, it was nice to have someone who pro enough to be prepared for the worst and guarantee we get the shots. We were also able to shoot literally all day because of the amount of batteries he has. AJ's piloting skills are next level and I always felt safe with him behind the sticks.
Not only was I satisfied with the shots we came away with, but I was impressed with the level of AJ's experience. Experience which is hard to find now days in the drone world. I can't wait to work with him again and again.
