Set Production Assistant

Set production assistant.

General office work, filling out daily production reports, making sure new hires filled out start packets and had correct I-9 verification documents. Dealt with various venders and oversaw pickup and drop offs of various items and equipment. Made sure staff and crew broke at correct meal times. Worked with Coordinator and Production Manager to ensure all tasks were taken care of in an efficient and organized manner. Coordinated the pickup and return of various rental equipment and props.

Driving 5 Ton box truck, picking up dropping off from various rental houses, organizing load in and load out, organizing various storage units etc.

Assisting reality crews with whatever they need, talent and background wrangling, helping set up sets and gear, transporting crew to and from locations, driving box trucks to and from pick up locations.

Crafty PA

Assisting producers and crew with any on set tasks. Running tapes from studio to fox. Keeping inventory of everything owned by the show. Organizing load out.

Assisting reality crews with whatever they need, talent and background wrangling, helping set up sets and gear, transporting crew to and from locations, driving box trucks to and from pick up locations.

Setting up locations, transporting crew, locking off streets and walkways, etc.

Help set up the set, wrangling extras and background talent. Dealing with releases

Transporting crew and talent to and from location, organizing and setting up production equipment and materials. Various crafty and equipment runs. Driving box trucks, campers and other large vehicles to and from set etc.

Setting up breaking down Interview sets, general G&E, loading and unloading equipment, transporting crew and equipment to and from the airport.

Setting up and breaking down sets. General G&E, going on runs, setting up and breaking down crafty, picking up lunch orders, setting up and breaking down catering, transporting vehicles and cast, extra wrangling. General Office work, filing paperwork, going over payroll etc.

Shooting promotional videos and interviews for a medical convention. Camera assistance, setting up go pro's for various time lapse sequences, changing lenses, logging media, general grip and electric, setting up spaces for interviews and assisting camera man while operating a movi.

My responsibilities included managing camera equipment (lenses, media cards, lens shades, monitors etc),changing batteries, changing and keeping track of media, logging interviews and segments in sync with camera time code for post production, helping set up shots and assisting with dolly shots, transporting crews and contestants from one location to another, and general assistance to producers and crew as well as supervision of the holding room, scouting the crowds for interesting and camera friendly talent, escorting talent to and from audition rooms to filming locations, organizing large numbers of contestants into position for Reality shots etc. I also work with contestants, driving contestants back and forth from locations, and escorting them from security to and from holding areas, wardrobe,etc.

Duties included logging incoming and outgoing media, Revising scripts for Promo’s and sizzle reels, helping to develop scripts for in house Promotional content. General office work such as filing purchase orders and contracts.

I designed and rigged all the props and built the set for the underwater shoot.

Helping set up for production, going on runs to pick up and drop off equipment and props, setting up and breaking down the set, organizing and keeping track of extras, running errands, anything else the producers needed.
