I assisted the field producer and took notes and time code.

I was responsible for finding potential cast members in the area.

I accomplished many tasks during this week long internship to ensure that the conference ran smoothly. I also assisted with the organization of seminars, social events, press, and promotions.

I directed a sports specific show, with a live audience. I managed and instructed a full crew each week. I prearranged and maintained the set every week. I also helped create fresh content for every show.

I mastered multiple positions available within the news crew: director, technical director, graphics technician, playback technician, floor manager, and camera operator. I prepared and instructed a live daily newscast which included preparing rundowns, maintaining studio lights, and training crew members.

I checked in and out equipment to students. I regularly maintained equipment and assisted with any problems that might arise with the gear. The equipment included: cameras, tripods, audio recorders, audio mixers, microphones, boom poles, editing bays, and studios. I maintained an organized workspace and handled student files.
