For my master's thesis at UCLA, I directed the pilot for this original half-hour comedy. The show revolves around an event planning committee made up of dysfunctional graduate students and their stoned faculty advisor. In the pilot, the group decides to plan a rave for new students, but they end up sabotaging themselves and the party in its execution. The project is in the final stages of post-production and will be completed March 2016.

Family Unit is a 15-minute short film that I directed about a female inmate who shares a 3-day conjugal visit with her husband. I wrote the film based on interviews I conducted with inmates and their spouses at the California Institution for Women. It was accepted as an Official Selection at the LA Shorts Fest, Hollywood Film Festival, and the Pasadena Film Festival, among others. For my work on the film, I received the "Best Director of Actors" Award from the UCLA Film Festival.

For 4 awesome years, I served as the writer, director, and producer on the majority of the company's video projects. In addition, I headed up the company's TV Development initiative. This consisted of coming up with TV show ideas and developing them into pitch presentations for sale. In 2009, I developed, produced, and co-wrote a special for Discovery Health. For my advertising work, I was awarded a National Silver Circle Savvy Award, two Gold ADDYs, and one Silver ADDY. This job laid the foundation for my career as a filmmaker.
