How you'll make an impact:An integral member of the publicity communications team, working in close collaboration with team leadership to support PR efforts across *** and podcast programming, initiatives and events. A *** Publicity Manager is responsible for producing a high volume of stories in key news, entertainment and music outlets, as well as maintaining relationships with leading industry reporters.
What you'll do: - Assist in the development and execution of press strategies surrounding talk, comedy, entertainment, sports and news programming, personalities and shows, programming initiatives, and events.
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships with consumer entertainment-focused and trade *** to build brand awareness around *** and the *** Podcast Network.
- Work to garner daily press coverage as it relates to *** and its podcast programming, guests and hosts to top-line consumer *** outlets.
- Work cross-functionally to nurture relationships with internal programming stakeholders, including talent relations and programming executives, to strategize and execute successful campaigns around key content.
- Work closely with artist management, as well as outside PR representatives, to ensure an open pipeline on artist promotional and publicity opportunities.
- Write press releases, *** alerts, key messages, prepare interview briefing docs, talking points and other collateral for consumer campaigns.
- Partner with social and digital teams to share assets, capture content and coordinate roll-out strategies across platforms.
- Track *** coverage and prepare high-level executive reports.
- Work tentpole events when needed, supporting talent and assisting with press, photo and talent needs during events.
What you'll need:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience.
- 4 or more years of experience in a public relations or communications role, preferably in the entertainment industry.
- Must have proven experience in talking to and pitching stories/items to *** , specifically experience working with bloggers, podcasts and internet websites.
- Must have experience working on campaigns to promote consumer goods, products or personalities with national or regional relevance.
- Experience in working with *** at events.
- Good public speaking and presentation skills.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
- Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.
- Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.

At *** , we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $85,000 to $95,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
