Job Description

This Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the Pricing & Revenue Management department and performs detailed financial analyses of attendance trends and forecasts to make strategic recommendations for ticket pricing and product offerings. By providing high-quality insights, this Senior Financial Analyst supports both the short-term and long-term financial success for Universal *** Hollywood.

Responsibilities include:

Weekly analysis of ticket pricing, products, sales channels, and promotions to provide explanations of revenue trends and forward pacing. This requires maintaining advanced Excel models and translating data into actionable insights.
Developing innovative pricing initiatives (e.g. volume-tiered, variable pricing) and evaluating their success (e.g. sensitivity, break-even, volume analysis) to drive revenue and margin growth.
Partnering with various teams (e.g. Marketing, Sales, Operations, IT) to execute key business initiatives
Supporting FP&A in the development of the Annual Budget, Five-Year Plan, and Quarterly Estimates for ticketing revenue

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

Job Description

As part of the *** U DM&I team, this Sr. Analyst will be responsible for developing data framework and automating data transformation and dataflows across the data science platform. Our data science platform serves as a basis for advanced analytics including, but not limited to audience predictive models, real time data analysis, *** mix models, campaign optimization, data assessments for 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data, and audience development (sizing, planning, profiling). Build data models in dbt to transform data into bronze, silver, and gold layers to serve various business use cases
