REPORTING & ANALYTICS ASSISTANT, ELLEN DIGITAL VENTURES


SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Reporting & Analytics Assistant is at the heart of all things related to data on the Ellen Digital Ventures team, with a bridge to the Warner Brothers Unscripted Partnerships Team.


This role assists with daily reporting requests, maintaining weekly, monthly, and seasonal performance reports for all departments (Video, Social, Games, Ecommerce, Partnerships), and assembling deeper analytics reports on an ad hoc basis. We’ll also rely on this position to keep a consistent eye on how we can continue to improve the variety of dashboards and reports that provide relevant KPIs for all business lines.


The ideal candidate loves numbers and organizing information, is naturally curious, and is eager to learn the ins and outs of a world class digital entertainment company. The position requires someone who is a self-starter, has a passion for working in a fast-paced environment, is solution-oriented, and can quickly adjust to various types of work styles with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the Ellen Digital team with tracking, analyzing, and sharing cross-channel data for all content types
Build and maintain reporting dashboards and analyses that team members will use daily, ensuring error-free deliverables
Track, measure, and report on digital growth/trends and campaign effectiveness; translate findings into concrete recommendations for optimizing current and future digital and social media campaigns
Develop a deep understanding of the ELLEN brand and content ecosystem in order to report and articulate performance, leading to strategic observations and recommendations based on consumer insights
Collaborate with Ellen Digital and agency/client partners to adequately measure and optimize campaign performance while also establishing benchmarks and recommending improvements for future integrations and activations
Work with the Warner Bros Global Insights and Analytics Team in both NYC and LA
Constantly monitor trends in digital, mobile and social media tools, channels, strategy, and applications. Maintain expert knowledge on key competitors.
Lead and inspire the team with an analytical approach to cross-platform brand campaigns

Basic Qualifications


Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Marketing Research, Math/Statistics, or related
At least 1 year of full-time professional experience; prior experience in data analytics, social media or marketing analytics a plus
Experience with social analytics platforms (ListenFirst, Tubular Labs, Netbase, or equivalent) are preferred
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
Extensive familiarity with Microsoft Power Point, Keynote, and/or Google Slides
Strong skills in preparing data-based analysis & presentations
Ability to translate research and data into actionable insights and recommendations
Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple project timelines and meet deadlines
Must have a strong knowledge of social media platforms and available analytics per platform
Self-starter with strong team ideals, who learns fast

Additional Qualifications


Experience in designing reporting templates
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Keynote, Google Data Studios, or equivalent)
Knowledge & familiarity of reporting platforms, including Adobe Analytics, ComScore, YouTube Studio, Twitter Analytics, Facebook Creator Studio, etc.
Experience with Mobile Games Analytics tools (Swrve, App Store Connect, Google Play Analytics)
Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Newsletter Studio
Interested in social marketing trends and updates
