Overview & Responsibilities: We are seeking someone to lead the social *** analytics function at *** and work with teams across Marketing, Content Production/Editorial, Research, and Business Strategy! Manage the social *** narrative for company stakeholders across a wide array of social platforms. This role reports to the SVP of *** Global Digital & Social *** Analytics.
This individual will be responsible for contributing to in-depth analysis of performance and trends on social platforms including competitive intelligence, case studies, and supporting management in the development of overall digital strategies. They will lead primary and secondary research efforts with the goal of providing recommendations towards opportunities to grow engagements across *** Shows, News & Sports. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, thoughtful, and a strategic problem solver who is skilled at connecting the dots to bring a holistic perspective to the business. This role requires analytical creativity and a desire to proactively problem solve in efforts to stay ahead of the ever-changing social *** landscape. This role is hybrid requiring 2 days in office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead the reporting and communications of *** performance and provide continuous POV and thought leadership on the competitive *** industry and social *** landscape
- Support the development of custom content, editorial voice, and audience growth
- Create thoughtful and innovative research solutions based on the stakeholder's objectives/ requirements
- Start-to-end ownership of reports, presentations, and other deliverables to provide strategic recommendations for ***
- Manage a team providing guidance, coaching and feedback, performance management, and day-to-day oversight of projects including directing, assigning, and prioritizing work
Basic Qualifications: - 7+ years' experience in social analytics
- 2+ years' supervisory experience leading a team
- Highly proficient with social *** monitoring tools (Twitter Analytics, Facebook Insights, YouTube Analytics, ListenFirst, etc) and social listening tools (Talkwalker)
- Expert in data manipulation and visualization: Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Domo or Cognos
- Knowledge of social *** management tools (Sprinklr)
- Ability to turn complex/intricate data analyses into clear, easy-to-understand "story-telling" presentations and other deliverables
Additional Qualifications: - Strong strategic problem solver, with a passion for television and digital *** , and a willingness to learn and work with others
- Passion & curiosity about social *** platforms and emerging technologies
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate research effectively to both small and large groups
- Experience in Python, SQL, R is a plus
- Passion for content, pop culture and trends
- Familiarity with the social landscape and competitive analysis
- Experience presenting complicated data to senior executives with varying levels of analytics experience
- Highly organized and extremely detailed with the ability to work under pressure, set priorities, handle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $140,000.00 - 165,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
