-Proficient in archive work, particularly across social media

-Capable of conducting sensitive and effective interviews with complex contributors, whether over phone/Zoom or in person

-An understanding of cultural sensitivities, especially within Black American communities

This position is represented by the Writers Guild of America East.

Responsibilities:

The main responsibility of the Associate Tape Producer is assisting Segment Producers with locating, viewing, and editing videotape for broadcast. The AP needs to be up-to-date on show rundowns to ensure that all video footage is in place and is current. Must be able to quickly turnaround video while on air and during breaking news situations.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Notify control room/ Line Producer of images coming in for Breaking News
Straight cut video and work with editors when needed
Available to assist producers with interplay/desktop editing
Help coordinate *** coverage during breaking news

How you'll make an impact:

Responsible for assisting with production and operations of *** 's bipartisan politics and news channel, called POTUS. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $28.61-32.69 per hour. We provide Freelancers medical/dental/vision insurance and 401k after they meet eligibility criteria and any State required time-off, in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
