Title: Associate Producer (Relationship/Drama-based Talk Show Pilot)
Role Summary:
NBCUniversal is seeking Associate Producers for an untitled relationship/ drama-based talk show pilot being shot in Stamford, Connecticut. This project will take place over a four-week period in July/August.
Essential Responsibilities:
• The Associate Producer’s main responsibility is to book guests to appear on the pilot. The AP will also assist the Producers in pre- interviewing the guests after they are booked. Candidate should feel confident booking individuals, couples and families dealing with relationship issues.
• The AP will oversee the Production Assistants as they plan and execute the travel itineraries of guests who are booked to appear on the pilot.
• The Associate Producer will be involved in all aspects of in-studio pre-production and production.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 1-year professional TV experience with a talk show, news or court program
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Must be able to start in mid-July 2021. The position will require a 4-week commitment
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to work both remotely and in Stamford, Connecticut
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
• Desired Characteristics:
• 2 years of TV Production experience preferred (including internships, PA positions, etc.)
• Strong writing and in-studio production skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and previous experience booking individuals, couples and families dealing with relationship issues. Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments under high pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow direction and work independently when necessary
• Must have superior organizational skills
