AGGREY CO is a boutique production agency that specializes in factual documentary content for broadcast, streaming and theatrical distribution. We tell stories that matter and encourage a fresh approach to every phase of production. Our bread and butter is producing high quality 4K documentary content for network and cable clients. We also offer digital strategy consultation, marketing, and engagement planning. We started as a team of three, and are expanding every quarter.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT
AGGREY CO is producing a one hour documentary for ViacomCBS. This film will explore the origins of Afro-futurism and chronicle its important legacy.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Creative
- Manage the creative process from research to post-production to bring the creative vision to life in a timely and efficient manner; including participating in the all stages of story structuring
- Balance creative innovation and production execution; switching between left-brain to right-brain creative production
- Assist with fact-checking scripts, tracking down archival footage and other materials that may be relevant to our story
- Outreach to individuals we feature in footage clips, as well as outreach to experts and other organizations.
- Collaborate with Graphics, fact-checking any image that may appear on screen (maps, flags, etc.) and helping to proof-read VO copy.

Production Management
- Partner closely with the physical production team to help manage creative production costs
- Liaise with teams to inform them of their spend and make adjustments based on creative or budgetary constraints
- Liaise with ViacomCBS teams for clip research/licensing, music cue reporting and deliverables

Post Production
- Edit radio cut and create string outs
- Upload cuts to frame.io for client and internal review
- Manage media organization
- Maintain up-to-date script and footage usage logs
- Assist PM with compiling and managing deliverables

MUST HAVES

- 3+ years of experience within a production environment; ideally experience in production at a production company or creative agency
- Proficiency with Avid Media Composer or Adobe Premiere Pro, work samples required
- Media management experience transcoding and organizing large media files
- Strong written and communication skills
- Experience with Resilio Sync a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience

Job Description

The Associate Producer is responsible for the successful coordination and execution of a show. The role of the AP is to work with the Producer in preparing the editorial content for the broadcast, assist with the management of different aspects of the production in coordination with internal support areas.

Job Duties:

Assist in all aspects of production and ensure that all information is sound and accurate while finding innovative ways to execute productions.
Required to be in the control room and have complete knowledge of the control room environment.
Responsible for producing breves and promos needed for broadcast and digital platforms.

Job Description

The Associate Producer is responsible for the successful creation, coordination and execution of a show or segment for TV or Digital Platforms. The role of the AP is to prepare the editorial content for the broadcast both for linear and non-linear platforms, also to assist with the management of different aspects of the production and coordinate with internal support areas. Coordinate specific production and staffing needs for broadcasts, including editing and control room areas, technical production, and art departments.
Verify that all in-show production elements are ready for air, with special attention to sponsored elements. Review traffic instructions leading up to the broadcast.
Prepare original editorial content for the linear show and digital extensions both locally and on the field, including but not limited soccer tactical analysis, selecting, translating, and transcribing sound bites and footage for a piece. Prepare research for stories or segments as needed.
Write and supervise scripts, and the editing of a story.
Meet with show director and technical crew to go over show details. Meet with show staff to verify production assignments. Prepare and fact-check all show graphics and segments.
Field Produce stories and remote productions; assist with live shots as needed.
Attain a complete knowledge of all show elements; how they work and how they are applied within the various shows.
Provide story ideas and offer suggestions to improve broadcasts and non-linear coverage on a regular basis. Research stories and produce sweeps series as needed.
Prepare scripts and materials for cross-promotional purposes and for use by digital *** department and network affiliates.
Produce sports briefs, halftime reports, other sports segments for quality control and content across broadcast and digital platforms.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

A solid knowledge of sports content with an emphasis on Mexican, English Premier League and International soccer, US domestic sports and boxing for US Hispanic market.
General computer skills: INEWS, MS Office (Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel), Avid Interplay, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.
Solid editing, writing and production skills.
Knowledge of soccer tactical analysis tool VIZRT Libero Vision, Piero and or similar.
Three years Control Room (live & taped programs) experience required with an emphasis in graphics, content creation and segments producing.
Three years' experience working in broadcast television.
