Due to growth and business demand, we are currently searching for a Broadcast Engineer (Control Software Support & Commissioning) to fill a full-time role with a worldwide outsourced production partner supporting premier content producers of live sports, entertainment, music, and corporate events. Our client’s technical services include remote production, studio production, centralized production, audio visual solutions, host broadcast support, premium playout, postproduction, and innovative media asset management solutions.

About the Opportunity
We are looking for creative, dynamic, and innovative coding talent to join our client’s internal product teams who are dedicated to contributing to industry-defining advancement to a global broadcasting technology powerhouse poised to revolutionize the media industry.
Who Will Succeed?
The ideal candidate has experience supporting and commissioning broadcast control software deployed at advanced broadcast facilities. You will apply your knowledge and experience in broadcast equipment and workflows to deliver high uptimes and superior service to field engineers.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field
Advanced theoretical foundation in broadcast equipment, particularly IP equipment based on SMPTE 2110 and multicast networking including Production Switchers, Audio Consoles, Routers, Video and Processing Hardware, Record and Replay (EVS. LiveTouch), ST2110, SDI, NDI, Tallies, GPIO Control, Timing and Phasing, Industry Protocols (NMOS, Ember+, SWP08, TSL, DMX), Serial Protocols and Communication
Deep understanding of how broadcast systems are integrated and the production workflows within OB and Studio facilities
Capable to identify and mitigate risk
Experience with media, broadcast or live events is essential
Interest in DevOps, Enterprise Virtual Computing, Kubernetes, containers, microservices will be attractive
