Who are we hiring?
MSGV is looking for a production-savvy, fiscally minded and analytical thinking business planner with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our Sphere Studios team. The Manager Business Operations will support all aspects of strategic initiatives, production project management and budgeting. This position will also be responsible for the development of business processes, metrics, and workflows design to support vendor onboarding and Sphere Studios production. This position will be the department’s main point of contact in Burbank and foster cross-functional relationships with internal finance, legal, threat management, and procurement. This position will directly liaise with MSGV management in New York.

What will you do?
• Partner with senior management to drive strategy and operations for Sphere Studios organization.
• Streamline business operations processes and tackle points of friction to resolution.
• Develop tracking and reporting tools which can be utilized by managers to drive cost efficient management and decision-making.
• Educate teams on onboarding procedures and workflows (RFP processes, bid waivers, VQ, payments).
• Work with appropriate functional groups to ensure tracking, monitoring and confirmation of all project milestone payments related to show development and production.
• Leverage modeling expertise to create forecast tools for production workflows.
• Monitor and facilitate process for departmental and project budgeting efforts, including resource allocation.


What do you need to succeed?
• 4-7 years of experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Exceptional presentation skills with keen attention to detail, including proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills, including proficiency in Excel (e.g., data manipulation, building reports).
• Ability to partner cross-functionally, maintain a positive work culture and effectively navigate a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate a “no ego” resilient, eager, and professional approach to challenge and desire to advance in the organization.
• Ability to work at the highest strategic level and in a granular capacity, bringing analytic problem solving to the table along with the deep collaboration skills needed to work in a matrix environment.
