You will mainly be coordinating between our testing venders and our client's production team. Most of the work will be remote, but you need to be based in LA as you may need to go to set/testing locations to facilitate.

Job Summary:

National Geographic is looking for a Visual Editor to join the Interactive Storytelling team. This role will work across the National Geographic's verticals to pitch, edit and execute visual narratives and interactive formats, including long-form storytelling, immersive maps, games, 3D visualizations, and emerging storytelling forms. Minimum 6 years of experience conceptualizing and creating interactive storytelling on digital platforms.
You have solid visual storytelling and data journalism experience gained within a newsroom or editorial setting.
You have a portfolio of published work that demonstrates your skills in research, reporting, story development and execution of a visual storytelling concept.
You understand the needs of a digital audience, user experience design, and are always asking: "how will I engage the audience"?
You're comfortable working collaboratively, individually and with cross-functional teams. We are seeking a self-starter, but not a lone wolf.

Preferred Qualifications
