- Do you know how to swim, in case you fell into the water while filming?
- Are you legally authorized to work in the United States?
- Do you live within a 1 hour drive of New Braunfels, TX?
- Do others think of you as a fun outgoing enthusiastic person?
- Do you have at least 1 year experience with handheld camera operation (run and gun style, constantly adjusting exposure, angle, zoom etc)?
- Are you available to be booked on weekdays between 6am - 6pm?
- Do you have steady hands?
- Do you have a strong understanding of how to use ISO, shutter speed, aperature, and ND filters?
- Do you have experience being on a paddleboard, and are you comfortable operating my camera on a paddleboard?
- Are you good with direction and constructive criticism?
Seeking an energetic camera person to follow a YouTuber who finds lost treasures in the lakes and rivers near New Braunfels, TX.
We’ll need you for an average of 1 time per week.
You’ll work directly with Dallas, of Man + River, who has over 5M subscribers on Youtube.
You don't need to provide any gear, but a strong grasp on HANDHELD RUN AND GUN style shooting is essential to capture viral content live, no re-takes! You must also be a character in the story by reacting and commenting behind the camera, so you we're looking for a naturally enthusiastic person.
Responsibilities
Operate Dallas' camera (Sony A6400 + cage and monitor) during the shoot, often while on a paddle board/boat
Always be ready to capture moments live!
NO TRIPOD ARMS! Use motion, angles, pan and zoom to add interest to the shots, make goofy moments goofier, and memorable moments more memorable.
Average shoot is 5-9 hours, and you may need to sit on a paddleboard or boat the entire shoot, so you need healthy posture.
Qualifications
Located within 1 hour of New Braunfels, TX
Generally available weekdays between 6am-6pm (days and times are flexible)
Fun energetic vibe

Experience using Sony cameras
Understanding of ISO, shutter speed, Aperature, and ND filters
Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds
Comfortable being near lakes and rivers
Comfortable being on a paddle board
Demonstrate your attention to detail and interest level by watching some RECENT videos on my YouTube channel, then in your application, mention how you feel like you could match the camera energy! Just search "man + river" in youtube, and locate my channel which is my face against a blue water background.
