New 8-episode hour-long series for HGTV looking for Construction Project Manager / Build Producer who is local to Atlanta. Role will oversee & manage 8- projects at various stages throughout production starting now through late October.
Job duties:
- Act as the bridge between Production, Design and GC/trades by tracking the construction process and inserting production & design into the build schedule.
- Relay needs of each department between construction, design, production - timeline, scenes, product deadlines, etc.
- Manage the construction details of how each episode will piece together in the big picture. Manage how any changes/delays can play out & keep us on track.
- Keep the construction process consistent for Production & Design as we work with different GC’s/trades.
- Advocate for Production/Design needs on the construction site when we can’t be there. This is a big one, since GC’s want to hit the deadline but we still need to account for storylines or design specifics that are important for reveal.
- Ensure we are checking all of the permitting boxes and building those milestones into the build schedule.
- Create project punch list & ensure it gets completed on-time.
- Work with Production to ensure material staging/etc doesn’t slow down the production process (making sure things are staged right for the shoot the next day, things are cleared from an area, etc).
