About the producer:
Producer can be either LA- or NYC-based. Shoot will be local and short (2-3 days). Flexible shoot dates.
Ideally, Producer has their own business / insurance / etc. and can run the production through their company.
Ability to structure a tight sizzle and craft highly-produced moments that feel organic and impactful - a must.
He/she is comfortable both directing sit-down interviews and creating dramatic moments in situ.
Must be able to draw emotion out of participants, as well as create light and comedic beats.
Overall feel of the pitch should be fun, glamorous, transformational, and inspirational.
Producer will be tasked with:
Writing and directing pitch tape shoot and overseeing edit
Casting 2-3 families
Supplying recommendations for all hires (above and below the line)
Creating pitch deck for half-hour pilot episode and/or series
Making network introductions where available
