Major Los Angeles television production company is currently looking for an accomplished and talented DP to join the team for a 2 hour premium true crime and active investigation documentary special airing in the summer of 2020. Recreation experience is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6+ years specifically as a Camera Operator and more importantly, Director of Photography.
- Well versed with all interview setups including exterior OTF's and formal sit-down interviews. Ability to light, grip and supervise camera department.
- Strong communication skills. The chosen DP will work closely alongside our EP's.
- Experience helping set the look and tone of a new series.
- Ability to film for long durations in rough and remote terrain within the Pacific Northwest. Previous survival or adventure experience is a plus.
- Someone with the ability to drastically heighten the production value and elevate a project by way of their talent. This will be a premium documentary special and we'd like someone who can ensure the visuals will reflect this.
- FAA license is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with the FS7 and comparable camera systems.
- Previous male-skewing docu-follow experience.
- Premium historical documentary experience is a plus.
