We are producing a short form docoumentary for a life achievement award film.

We are seeking a local Director of Photograghy and a local AC/second shooter for the production. We are also sourcing a local audio technician and Gaffer for one of the two days. If the DP has crew they are use to working with we can happily use their crew as well.

Here is the high-level agenda for the two days of filming

We are looking for a mobile DP / AC team with a knack for cinema vertae moments.

Here is the high-level production plan:

Meet at the home address of the award winner. Film him getting ready for the day.
Load into the award winner’s car and film driving interviews with the producer and AC/Audio tech in the back seat.
Drive to three locations and spend an hour at each location filming the award winner interacting with people in the office.
End with driving back to the home and ending the day.
AC to handle DIT with drives that will be provided.

Crew will trave in the car throughout the day.

Suggested Equipment to include in quote:

Basic audio kit (keep him mic’d entire time. Boom others who interact with him at the three different offices.)

We are looking for an experienced one-man/woman band Director of Photography for a documentary about women in comics. We're shooting on a Sony FS7 so we need someone who either owns this camera or has access to it. You'll need to have your own lights and basic sound.

We're shooting four interviews over three days with scholars and need someone reliable and upbeat with a get-it-done attitude. We're also going to be doing some on-the-fly footage of the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. It would be helpful if you have an interest in comics. And you must know how to light African Americans.

Seeking a DP who can capture interviews and B-roll for our client in Baton Rouge and Metaire. This would be for a high profile watch manufacturing company.

Looking for a DP local to the DMV area with scripted commercial or corporate experience who has their own camera kit and potentially G&E to film an ad for a cycling brand.

Rate: $350 for 5 hours + $150 camera kit + $75 for outdoor G&E ($575 total) The shoot will take place entirely outdoors.

We will be filming a feature-length documentary about a group who reclaim and train wild ponies in Nevada, Utah and Southern California. The doc will end following a long ride of several hundred miles. Will involve travel, some rough living and a lot of shooting on the go.

The ideal DP should be comfortable working in a wide variety environments, situations and lighting conditions, all on the go, often with minimal power or grip. We'll also expect you to shoot beautifully-lit studio sit-down interviews, gorgeous panoramas and interesting verite. You will also be in charge of a B and C cam, so the ability to direct coverage of B-roll is a must. We're hoping for a final product that combines the look of Haskell Wexler with a touch of Errol Morris.

Project shoots for three weeks at the end of September, with a week of prep in late August. Based out of L.A. All travel and lodging is paid. Camera package is still TBD, but likely Alexa mini or C300 mkIII. Open to considering a package from you for an additional rental if you have one.

Ability to ride a horse is a strong plus.

Elemmir is a team of award-winning documentary filmmakers helping businesses tell stories across the globe. We are hiring a DP to set-up, film and capture an interview and broll for a client of ours in Tampa, FL. This will be a full day of work at the pay rate of $1,000/day.

The responsibilities include receiving/using/returning a remote interview set up from a gear rental site (paid by Elemmir), setting up your own gear (4K cam, lights, sound) for an hourlong interview, and filming some broll. The producer will remotely conduct the interviews and provide a shot list. Media should be loaded onto a drive that will be provided and shipped day-of the shoot.

Home renovation series is looking to collaborate with a local DP in the Seattle-Tacoma region for a 4-5 month run, currently slated for a mid-June start. Will likely shoot 4-5 days per week on provided Sony FX9s. This is aimed to be a feature documentary revealing a grassroots level journey alongside a diverse group of protagonists in red, blue and purple states working in similar ways with non-partisan ballot measures advancing electoral reforms. These reforms vary by state and include opening primaries and ranked choice voting.
