We are an independent Jazzy R&B Duo from NYC called Acute Inflections, and we’ve been performing across the country and abroad for the past ten years. Responsibilities:

Transportation: Safely drive the jazz duo and equipment to various venues and locations on tour. Some legs are as many as ten hours a day, but most are four to five hours.
Equipment Handling: Assist in loading and unloading sound equipment, merchandise, and other items.
Set-Up and Breakdown: Assist with set-up and break down sound equipment and merchandise before and after performances.
Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to changing schedules, last-minute adjustments, and unforeseen challenges while on tour.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the jazz duo and other team members to ensure smooth operations and successful performances.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to drive a large van for several hours daily.

The **** 6 internship program provides college students interested in journalism and communications, as well as sales and marketing, a unique opportunity. The hands-on experience allows students to get an in-depth look into the field of broadcast and digital *** from an array of perspectives and challenges students to use their knowledge in an applied industry setting.

All positions are for college credit only, 16 hours per week, and usually last 8 to 12 weeks.

Criteria for acceptance:

The ideal candidate will produce nightly newscasts and oversee production of newscasts and special programming. You will work closely with the other producers and reporters on daily selection and coverage. As a newsroom leader, the expectation is that the Executive Producer will lead by example.

Planning and overseeing continuity into upcoming newscasts
Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

Four-year degree in journalism or communications preferred and a minimum of four years related experience
Strong writing skills and a proven track record for getting results on initiatives
Great people skills with an emphasis on coaching and motivating

A successful candidate will have had at least four years of experience in broadcast journalism as a producer, or equivalent experience.
