Mustache, a full-service creative content agency in Brooklyn, is looking for an editor with long-form doc experience (travel doc experience a plus). We're looking to book six weeks of labor between late October and late December. We will book and hold dates during this time - it will not be a single booked chunk of time.

Project details: As part of a tourism-based social media campaign, Mustache is producing a series of music videos & short documentaries that will celebrate the unique sounds to be heard across our country, and the musicians who find inspiration in the streets of some of our most enticing cities. In addition to the shorter social content, we'll produce (2) OTT episodes that weave the songs and personalities of several cities into a single half-hour program.

Job Description
Finance news brand is seeking an experienced video editor to edit engaging, informative and timely video features, recurring series episodes and in-depth interviews. The video editor will regularly work on segments ranging from eight to 10 minutes with opportunities to expand stories to 25 minutes for OTT platforms.

These originals will be expected to capture viewers' attention through their sharp perspective, approachable style, and clear relevance to the biggest investments and financial questions investors face. You will help spearhead execution across a range of programming formats.

You will work closely with reporters, studio, graphics, and more to elevate brand’s feature video stories. You will be expected to be a strong collaborator and execute an efficient video production process to ensure clean, final delivery. Responsibilities:

This role administers many of the daily tasks of Agriculture.com, including updating the homepage, sending the newsletter, editing short videos, and posting to social *** . This role is responsible for posting freelance and content contributor's articles to the website. In addition, this individual will create original content for Agriculture.com and Successful Farming magazine.

Essential Job Functions

30% - Content creation for Agriculture.com, including writing articles and producing social *** videos, and for Successful Farming magazine, which may include writing and coordinating partner programs.

40% - Executing on content distribution, including updating the homepage, posting to social *** , and sending the daily newsletter. This will include tactical work to support SEO and evergreen content updates.

20% - Coordinating content posting to Agriculture.com, including posting freelance and magazine articles. This may include editing content to align with Successful Farming's style and tone. This may also include adding multi *** content to these articles

10% - Travel to cover industry news events, capture multi *** content.

Education:

Has a bachelor's degree in journalism, ag communications, or similar fields.

Experience:

Writing background is required. Experience with social *** and using a content management system is preferred.
