Job Description
Finance news brand is seeking an experienced video editor to edit engaging, informative and timely video features, recurring series episodes and in-depth interviews. The video editor will regularly work on segments ranging from eight to 10 minutes with opportunities to expand stories to 25 minutes for OTT platforms.

These originals will be expected to capture viewers' attention through their sharp perspective, approachable style, and clear relevance to the biggest investments and financial questions investors face. You will help spearhead execution across a range of programming formats.

You will work closely with reporters, studio, graphics, and more to elevate brand’s feature video stories. You will be expected to be a strong collaborator and execute an efficient video production process to ensure clean, final delivery. Attention to detail, clear communication and being mindful of deadlines are a must. Strong candidates will be comfortable balancing a variety of projects and deadlines while working with different producers.

Responsibilities:
- Edit original features using Adobe Premiere, for audiences across our daily live distribution onsite and off, YouTube, and major social platforms.
- Help conceptualize, manage and execute visually dynamic, original edits in a deadline-driven environment.
- Stay up-to-date on the workings of company systems including proprietary infrastructures, working with the post support team to source and acquire assets as necessary for projects.
- Communicate in an appropriate and timely manner to relay issues and concerns about individual edits, technical issues and deadlines.
- Regularly update media and project tracking documents as necessary.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day issues with the IT team and post management.
- Develop and grow audience engagement across major platforms and help editorial leads establish and maintain OKR goals
- Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience editing narrative features for onsite and OTT.
- An exceptional storyteller with a proven track record of editing high-quality, original field production with the audience and platform in mind.
- Proficient with Adobe Premiere.
- Must be experienced working with graphic templates and MGRTS within premiere. AfterEffects experience preferred.
- Comfortable sourcing pictures, video, soundbite from subscriptions services, including AP, Reuters, Getty, etc.
- Editor must thrive under deadline pressure and be able to juggle multiple tasks and assignments.
- Clear communicator, both written and verbal.
- Be able to work within and conform to established organizational systems and work/troubleshoot in team environments.
- Quality control of all video assets sent to the control room and published to our site and OTT platforms.

Adamit Productions is an emerging media company based in Hackensack, NJ.

We are currently seeking a jack-of-all trades type editor/ studio staff person to join our team full time.

Because we are a small team, we need someone to assist in other areas as well, such as camera assisting when needed.

We need someone who:
- Has at least 5 years experience in working with Adobe Premiere Pro
- Can edit different types of content, such as interviews and social media sorts
- Has on set experience
- Has at least some camera experience
- Has drive and a good attitude
- Experience with motion graphics and sound design a plus

Pay is salaried for 8/hr days 5 days a week

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented editor to join our creative team. As a member of our post team you will play a crucial role in editing high-quality video content for our YouTube channel. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and have a strong understanding of YouTube Culture and trends. This is an in office position so living in or being willing to relocate to Raleigh, North Carolina is a must.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

· Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro to edit videos including cutting, trimming, adding transitions, general color correction and basic audio mixing.

· Collaborate with the CEO/Talent and Producer to execute on video concepts to make sure all creative beats are hit while maintaining the post schedule set forth.

· Help maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all video content

· Monitor video analytics if asked by manager.

· Stay up to date on YouTube trends and best practices to optimize video performance.

· Able to work within the often tight turnaround schedules for YouTube.

· Able to track briefs for videos with brand integrations to help make sure all mandatory beats are hit within the edit.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Editing, Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or related field would be great but not mandatory.

· Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and other relevant editing software

· Previous experience Editing for YouTube is extremely important. We are open to those outside of YouTube but having this experience will mean you know the slight nuance that differs from traditional markets.

· Local to Raleigh North Carolina or willing to relocate to the area. (Must work in office M-F)

· General knowledge of sound libraries and other useful software that can be used to improve channel edits

· Strong communication skills and the ability to self-start while also being able to collaborate effectively within a team.

Editor for Indie Horror Feature; Run time 75-80 minutes; ideal candidate has experience with horror films and feature films; ideal candidate has worked on major projects for large studios / streaming (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) or similar; experience with pseudo-scripted material preferred; candidate should make this their primary project; ideal candidate has strong sense of humor and commitment to the art of film and film + cinema knowledge; ideal candidate is hungry to make top notch projects and continue ascending in their career; candidate should provide reel and 2 work references.

Team will coordinate with Editor to bring on AE for media management as needed. If Editor has own preferred process for this, team is open to discussion. Must have own cutting station. Can be performed Remotely.

Avid or Premier OK; open to discussion. NYC or LA preferred.
