The Senior Specialist, Internal Communications, *** Entertainment Television will be a critical team member in helping to lead programs and strategies that strengthen a creative culture, deepen employee engagement and bolster a positive work experience across the television segment and shared services.
The ideal candidate is highly organized and able to multitask the multiple facets of planning and executing internal meetings, content screenings, and broad employee awareness and engagement campaigns. The candidate should also have a strong ability to cultivate deep relationships with internal and external partners and have exceptional communication and presentation skills.
What You Will Do- Have a deep understanding of our business, key priorities and industry landscape to identify strategic opportunities for employee engagement
- Liaise with key internal partners including HR and DEI teams to build awareness and understanding for broad employee-base
- Identify important internal priorities and stories to draft original editorial content for employee-facing platforms
- Oversee development of creative concepts for internal projects related to employee engagement, working in partnership with internal communications content production lead, creative marketing leads and visual communications team
- Develop strategy and engagement calendar of employee-facing programming to build and strengthen culture and career opportunities
- Maintain internal engagement metrics database to facilitate the team in making strategic decisions
- Oversee project management coordination and team scheduling for major strategic engagements
- Maintain multiple calendars that include planned editorial and events as well as tracks important events and initiatives of our IC partners across the various business segments.
Required Qualifications & Skills- A minimum of 5+ years of experience working on communications or marketing portfolios
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Fluency in digital communication mediums and multi-channel communications strategies
- Deep experience with Microsoft Office suite, PowerPoint and/or Keynote
- Have basic knowledge of editing (graphics and video) and production to facilitate internal-facing activations and programming
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere and Photoshop) with knowledge of video file formats, creative storytelling
- Additional administrative work to support the success of the team, including bookings for larger meetings/events, executive scheduling, and ordering supplies
EducationBachelor's degrees from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience in communications, journalism, *** relations or related field
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $90,500.00 - $ 124,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
