- Ensure the DP's capture all the necessary footage
- Ensure that PA's obtain releases & signatures
- Ensure Still Photographer captures all the necessary shots
- Oversee the interview filming portion after the conference
- Maintain contact with client POC onsite to ensure filming is on track

There is a total of $600 budget for this role

Job Description

Do you love pop culture and entertainment news? What about trends, viral videos, and social *** ? Access Hollywood is looking for a Field Producer to deliver and execute creative content around a variety of topics including entertainment news, human interest, and celebrity features. Reporting to the Executive Producer and Supervising Producers, as well as working closely with our Production teams, this role will be responsible for the execution of daily editorial content covering an array of topics in a variety of forms, from breaking news to red carpets to oversight and execution of package pieces.

This position will crash day of air pieces and breaking news, so writing, edit, and strong storytelling skills are a must. This position will produce in the field and at offsite interviews when needed, source and advance news stories, and work well within a team environment. Must be comfortable developing ideas that work across all *** including on air, digital, and social *** .

Essential Responsibilities

Oversee creative segments under the direction of the EP, Co-EP, and Supervising Producers as well as work closely with Production team members to ensure budget expectations are met, staffing needs are communicated, and post/deliverables are executed on time.
Be a one-person band when necessary, crashing day of air pieces for broadcast with quick turnarounds.
Contribute towards building the brand identity by being able to take information and create engaging and interactive formats in which the viewer can participate.
Write scripts and execute story telling visually through the selection of appropriate still and video images within budget and time parameters and while maintaining factual accuracy.
Attend junkets, premieres and other outside events, including award shows, to execute news coverage.
Must demonstrate pop culture passion, entertainment news authority and active participation and awareness of the importance of social *** to the entertainment news genre.
Work directly with talent, ensuring proper communication on site in regard to segment expectations and goals through research and consistent updates
Oversee content from conceptualization through the various stages of execution, including: Research/ Writing/ Producing/ Post and Voiceover direction.
Identify and pitch story opportunities, finding the unique story angle while maintaining factual accuracy.
Basic knowledge of editing desired, but willingness to learn is sufficient, with expectation that material can be delivered from producer directly to studio when necessary.
Book guests and human-interest stories as necessary and in conjunction with talent bookers.
Diligent about production paperwork including shoot reports and music reporting, legal guidelines, journalistic standards, and adhering to the on-air working practices.
Flexibility in role within the team and within the company, including working across multiple formats and departments as needed.

5+ years experience in a similar role within a television broadcast, news station, or network.

The Field Producer brainstorms and pitches ideas, researches topics and works closely with reporter(s) to advance stories, break news and produce segments both in studio and in the field.

What you'll do:

Working both independently and with reporters/anchors to produce original business news content, primarily for broadcast and additionally for digital and social.

Your New Role...

The live aspects of the *** Newsource business are among the core contract obligations with *** 's affiliate partners. The live Content Producer programs live event channels, responds to affiliate requests, and field produces for *** Newsource Correspondents. The Content Producer coordinates facilities for affiliate stations, books live shots for *** and Newsource correspondents, and troubleshoots technical issues. When producing in the field, this person handles all logistic and editorial support for reporters covering breaking news and big events. The Content Producer also supports affiliates traveling with Newsource crews. When not in the field, Content Producers can find themselves in the control room, line producing live shots or writing packages. Some of the types of packages include breaking news, news of the day, health, consumer, and trending topics. Your Role Accountabilities...

Collaborates with Newsource technical director, affiliate control room, and field crews to coordinate live product.
Field Producing and Live Logistics Travel on breaking and planned news events to field produce for *** and *** Newsource correspondents reporting live for affiliates. The duties include handling travel and other crew logistics (credentials, site-surveys, etc.), editorial producing for the correspondent, communicating plans with the live desk and *** network teams, working with the Newsource Control Room all while ensuring the Newsource crew's needs are considered and covered.

Qualifications & Experience...

Mandatory 5 years broadcast newsroom experience as a reporter, producer, on the assignment desk or similar. Affiliate experience is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in journalism, mass communication or a like field of study required.
3 years field production experience
Fantastic writers with impeccable news judgment and knowledge. True consumers of news.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Your New Role...

*** seeks a talented Producer to join the *** 11am-12pm team!

Your Role Accountabilities...

This producer is responsible for both guest segments and field producing. Must pitch compelling and creative segment ideas on a daily basis. The producer needs strong editorial judgment with the ability to select key video and soundbites to ensure a highly-produced segment. Must have the ability to write package scripts on tight deadlines. This producer will craft hard-hitting segment questions based on thorough research. This position requires someone with significant field experience who can crash field edits or set up live shots.

Qualifications & Experience...

• 5+ years producing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Field production experience and control room experience are necessary.
• Requires a creative thinker with the ability to find new and entertaining ways to present information, new angles to approach stories, and the organization skills to bring it all together.
• Outstanding news judgment, critical and strategic thinking, and an ability to be persistent yet diplomatic are critical for the position.
• Must be able to work an extended schedule as the news cycle and deadlines require.

Your New Role...

*** seeks a talented Associate Producer to join the *** 10am-12pm team!

Your Role Accountabilities...

The Associate Producer responsibilities include, but are not limited to: viewing and selecting the strongest and most accurate video elements (packages, sound-bites, B-roll, etc.) for a newscast. APs should be familiar with all important stories and the elements that go with them. They communicate show needs with writers, producers, and assignment desks. Other responsibilities include ordering and/or producing graphics, reporter packages, social *** segments as well as prepare editing requests and use technological tools to research and gather archive video. APs make sure all video elements are prepared properly for air and that *** source records include accurate details. They work in the front row of the control room to communicate the status of video elements and ensure best elements are available quickly.

Your Qualifications & Experience...

• Two years as an AP, writer/producer or producer in local news, cable or at the network level.
• Must have strong news awareness and production skills, the desire to work in a 24-hour newsroom environment and the ability to react quickly and calmly to breaking news situations.
• The candidate must be able to handle themselves professionally in changing and challenging situations and be able to react quickly under duress.
• Knowledge of iNews is extremely beneficial.
• Understanding of graphics, social *** and non-linear production is essential.
• Ideal candidate must be aggressive and be able to adapt to changing technology, demonstrate strong editorial judgment and be willing to work whenever needed.
• Candidates must be extremely flexible and willing to support breaking news and coverage needs in all day parts.
• Four-year degree or commensurate work experience.
