Experience with - Logistics and story. Getting releases from people that may initially be unsure about the idea of being filmed and experience assisting clients with capturing necessary story elements. Experience around politics and complicated topics helpful.
Planning 2-3 shoots in Chicago and nearby Wisconsin, specifically May 7th & 22nd with potential added days on either side.
This is aimed to be a feature documentary revealing a grassroots level journey alongside a diverse group of protagonists in red, blue and purple states working in similar ways with non-partisan ballot measures advancing electoral reforms. These reforms vary by state and include opening primaries and ranked choice voting.
