Planning 2-6 shoots in DC now until November. Most immediately looking at a few days around May 4th.

This is aimed to be a feature documentary revealing a grassroots level journey alongside a diverse group of protagonists in red, blue and purple states working in similar ways with non-partisan ballot measures advancing electoral reforms. These reforms vary by state and include opening primaries and ranked choice voting.

Due to content and subjects being filmed, we will be prioritizing BIPOC crew, if you're comfortable indicating such in your submission.

WE ARE DOING POST FIGHT INTERVIEWS AFTER BYB FIGHT. WE WILL BE IN ONE LOCATION SET UP WITH LIGHTS AND A TRIPOD.

AFTER EACH FIGHT THE FIGHTERS USUALLY COME TO US TO DO THESE INTERVIEWS. WE ARE ONE OF 2 CREWS THERE, THE HOUSE CREW AND US SO IT IS NOT DIFFICULT TO GET INTERVIEWS.

FIELD PRODUCER WILL GET ANSWERS FROM FIGHTERS WITH A STICK MIC. POST FIGHT QUESTIONS WILL BE PROVIDED, BUT LOOKING FOR A SELF STARTER. SPORTS EXPERIENCE A PLUS.

Looking for a Field Producer to help with an Interview shoot on an established show in its 4th season.

1 location, 2 interviews, 1 person at a time and some b-roll. You will work closely with our Producers in LA who will pass on questions, creative, etc.

$3,500 USD/wk prorated to days worked.

**Seasoned Field Producer:**
Start Date: April 29th
Duration: Approximately 10 - 14 weeks

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and manage a camera crew with confidence and authority.
- Foster a collaborative relationship with talent, ensuring their needs are met while maintaining the integrity of the project.
- Develop, build, and track the narrative of the series, making strategic decisions to enhance the storytelling.
- Oversee daily field summaries and hot sheets from the Associate Producer, ensuring all content aligns with the project's vision.

**Requirements:**
- A proven track record as a confident and effective Field Producer.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team.
- Excellent storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for detail and narrative development.
- Experience working with an ensemble cast for major streamers is highly desirable.

We are looking for candidates who are not just experienced but are confident in their ability to lead a production crew, work closely with talent, and contribute significantly to the storytelling process. We're looking at candidates for Field Producer who have experience with shows that combine mystery and process like Curse of Oak Island for a Discovery Network show. This show is on location in a rugged, outdoor environment. Candidates must be comfortable handling the challenges of that type of setting. Additionally, the cast uses heavy equipment such as excavators and mining drills so knowledge/experience in this area is helpful.

Primary responsibilities are directing talent in scene work, conducting interviews, tracking story points and assessing potential locations and secondary talent in the field to determine whether they meet the needs of our storylines.

The abilities to stay calm under pressure and pivot story-wise in response to changing facts in the field are key. You will be supporting the Field EP who will lead the producing charge, but able to produce independently when talent and crews split to cover different stories.

Experience in male-skewing programming and with paranormal storylines is also helpful.

The rate is per week. The pay schedule is every two weeks.

What You'll Do:

As the Executive Producer in the Physical Production Department, you will supervise and mentor other members of the production team and serve as the client facing point of contact on projects of all types/budget sizes. Reporting into the Director of Production Operations, you’ll help establish and define production processes that will be followed by the entire team. And, as a senior member of the Production team, you’ll maintain communication with key internal and external stakeholders across Legal, Creative, Editorial, Finance, and Account teams.

In This Role We Expect You To:

Manage, train, and mentor a team of Producers
Build strong, trusting relationships with clients
Ensure department-wide budget efficiency
Assist with the creation of department-wide processes and procedures
Act as Production Lead for all types of projects (typically those that require travel and have budgets of $200K+)
Create, manage, and review financial trackers, production budgets, call sheets, and shoot schedules
Track Cost Reports and manage Close Outs
Approve project POs, payroll, time cards, and payment requests, as well as review vendor agreements
Negotiate rates and production costs
Responsible for the completion of contracts, permissions, permits, COIs, releases, and risk assessments
Manage and hire crew members, extras & third-party production companies/vendors for new productions
Manage production travel logistics when necessary
Work closely and collaboratively with inter-company departments
Oversee department-wide productivity, goals, timelines, and budgets through post/delivery
Regularly track progress against departmental goals
Manage individual contributors (of all levels)
Manage up and across the organization
Plan and operationalize innovative ideas. Facilitate brainstorms and begin to reflect on implications for ideas as we think long-term and/or scale the business

Who You Are:

15+ years of relevant work experience (5 years of agency work)
Must have a very deep understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and close outs
Must be comfortable working in Movie Magic Budgeting
Must have a strong grasp on crew department head roles and above/below-the-line positions
Must have experience managing and delegating to both Freelance and Staff direct reports
Understand the mechanics of how production at a digital production studio is run, including experience with digital media workflows and post-production
Experience with Guild Guidelines including; DGA, SAG/AFTRA, WGA preferred
Experience working and interfacing with Clients as it pertains to the Production process
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize and problem-solve
Should be able to communicate effectively in-person, via email, and on the telephone
Familiarity with the digital video and social media landscape
Must have the ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information, as well as the ability to work independently, efficiently, and able to meet deadlines
Well-versed in production gear and techniques necessary to make digital, social video
Unflappable, positive attitude, providing calm in every potential storm

Compensation:

This position has an estimated annual salary range of $130,000-$150,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors. We welcome direct conversations with each candidate about compensation in all of our initial calls.

This position must be based in Los Angeles. This will be a hybrid role with a minimum three days in office.
