Looking for an experienced CoEP or #2 for a new unscripted comedy series shooting in LA. This producer should be able to manage story in the moment and moving forward. You should also be able to manage information flow between field and post, and make sure communication between departments in the field is efficient and effective. Others will be directing cameras, but this skill set should be something you are comfortable with as you will be managing those tasked with the actual direction, or may have to fill in as needed. The show is a half hour comedy series, so if you have some experience in comedy, that would be great as well, but certainly not necessary.
Please send your credits and any pertinent info along, We are looking forward to putting together an amazing team of creative folks! Thanks!
The remaining responsibilities (of which there are many, of course) are things that should come naturally to someone used to the role. Above all - you should be easy to work with and a pleasure to have around. In all unscripted projects we work long hours, so we want to make sure that we all enjoy being around each other and have fun working together.
Story trumps everything - so you should be able to develop & track great story. Comedic sensibilities are a huge bonus, as this cast is naturally funny and we will lean into that.
