Gaffer/Grip needed for a narrative short film in Los Angeles from award-winning filmmaker Angad Aulakh, alum of Ryan Murphy's diversity accelerator HALF Initiative. This is to be shot by Emmy-Award winning DP Charlie Wuppermann.

Open to individuals who have a grip they work with frequently, please let us know as we are hiring a grip as well.

Angad's prior short films, Oscar and BAFTA-Qualified RESURREKTOR and THE ATOMIC DREAM, both recently finished their respective festival tours, including SCAD Savannah Film Festival, NY Shorts, LA Shorts, playing over a combined 70 film festivals, garnering over 30 festival awards, 40 nominations, and receiving widespread critical acclaim. This upcoming project is very small in scope, and is an original and elevated sci-fi/horror story.

JOB: Looking for a collaborative, resourceful, and self-starting individual who is comfortable working with an equally efficient and focused skeleton crew (both for on-set safety & shoot efficiency). We're looking forward to a successful, safe and fun shoot in a collaborative and ego-free environment! The shoot is two days (daytime), Aug 16 and Aug 17.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR: Angad Aulakh is an award-winning filmmaker, whose most recent, Oscar-, BAFTA- and Canadian Screen-qualified short films, THE ATOMIC DREAM and RESURREKTOR, have been the Official Selection at festivals around the world, including most recently at SCAD Savannah Film Festival, NY Shorts, LA Shorts, Short Encounters, and winner of a combined 70 film festivals, garnering over 30 festival awards, 40 nominations, and receiving widespread critical acclaim. We will be filming one broadcast spot and one digital spot for our client. We are expecting filming outside but may have to move our shoot inside depending on the weather. We are currently planning for up to two days of shooting, but we may only need one day on July 18th.

Our shoot will consist of OTF style set-ups, some run-and-gun shots in various businesses, and some MOS shots / B-Roll. We will not have a heavy G&E lift, but as we are an out-of-town crew based in St. Louis, MO we need crew/gear to be local. Likely will not need an entire grip truck, but will have a la carte item list for rentals. If you have a vehicle that you could use to pick up the items like a pick-up truck, this is a big help. We would reimburse mileage. Our shoot will focus in Clarksburg, West Virginia and ideally we are looking for locals or those that can work as a local.

Hi, I'm a product videographer from Duluth who needs someone to assist with lighting on a low-budget outdoor shoot on Wednesday June 26th and Friday June 28th. My original gaffer suffered an injury and I need someone to replace him last minute.

I mainly just need someone to help me move equipment and hold bounce boards/reflectors. I'll have some Nanlites to add some accent lighting to certain scenes, but otherwise we're just shaping sunlight.

In search of a Gaffer with a minimum 1-ton package, local to or willing to work as a local to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This shoot will be for a feature documentary, including (1) interview day (which will require lighting units and grip gear). The interview day will have Grip support, but b-roll days may require our Gaffer to work solo as our footprint must remain light.
