I am looking for a Gaffer in the Cleveland area.

We are looking for a Gaffer to join our crew for a one-day shoot on May 29th, 2024, in Burbank. We also need to have access to equipment, whether it be through your own or a rental house you work with.

Out of state producer/shooter looking for gaffer w/ gear support (who is also willing to be a cam-op for B or C cam). Date TBD, but likely week of 5/27. 1 day in Round Rock.

Shooting a scripted scene in a corporate office. Two subjects talking to each other and discussing something on a large screen. Would ideally like to shoot 3 cams (wide + both OTS) at the same time, but need to keep setup minimal (for budget and space).

Looking to have you provide all G&E, as well as another crew member to assist.

Searching for a gaffer to work on a medium-large scale outdoor product shoot for a gardening company. Furthermore our studio is seeking to expand our freelance roster for semi-regular productions over the rest of the year and onwards. This particular project will have a ~12 person crew.

Looking for someone available to work this week - on Wednesday 5/22. Looking for a Gaffer to work 12 hr days for a really moving documentary. Rate to include kit rental. Ideally would have documentary and docu-series experience. You'll be a part of something that hopefully will make a big social impact. Documentary film called In Search of Love about how attraction works, the science of love and how to have long lasting relationships. Should be some great insight in the interview. Will be interviewing a celebrity musician about their experience so need to keep all confidential.

I am seeking a gaffer for 2 half day shoots up to 5hrs max on June 1 at 8am and June 3rd at 6pm. This is for a corporate talking head interview. I am seeking a gaffer to provide 3 point lighting plus green screen preferably 10x10 or larger.

The interview will take place in a hotel conference room so the gaffer would need to have the necessary equipment to turn a conference room into a green screen studio setup for a talking head interview with 2 cams.

I am looking for a Gaffer for June 10th and June 11th for my short film "Heaven's Diner."

Heaven’s Diner is run by women of color who have taken justice against harassers into their own hands. They hire Lilah to walk down NYC streets at night to scout and bring back male catcallers to the diner. The staff then work together to kill and butcher the men into burgers.

It is important to me to elevate women and non-binary people in filmmaking. As a result, people of color are encouraged to apply.

While I have a very small budget, it is important to me that I pay everyone on my crew.
Pay rate is negotiable and am open and flexible to talking about it!

We are filming a found footage horror narrative film with the majority of the project shot at one location in Tannersville, New York. Looking for a Gaffer that has experience in horror and using practical lights as we intend to use longer running shots to make the film feel more realistic. An ideal candidate could also be an Grip that is looking to make the jump to Gaffer. No equipment required.

Pay is lower but will only be shooting for around 8-9 hours a day.

In search of a Gaffer with a minimum 1-ton package, local to or willing to work as a local to Plano, Texas. This shoot will be for a feature documentary, including (1) interview day (which will require lighting units and grip gear). The interview day will have Grip support, but b-roll days may require our Gaffer to work solo as our footprint must remain light.


The documentary's subject matter is neurodiversity/neurosensitivity, and we will feature those from within the community. The individuals participating have kindly offered to share their stories, and we seek to celebrate them while telling honest and informative stories.
