Job DescriptionDo you love pop culture and entertainment news? What about coordination, travel, and production? We're looking for a Production Coordinator for Terrace *** to help organize, schedule, and execute creative content around a variety of topics including entertainment news, human interest, and celebrity features. Reporting to the Production Manager, as well as working closely with our Editorial and Field teams, this role will be responsible for the coordination and booking of travel, crews, and other administrative support for a large entertainment news show.
This position requires the ability to work collaboratively within a small team to ensure all needs and production details are communicated efficiently and executed flawlessly. This position will book crews for field shoots, travel for talent and staff, and track other activities like vacation days and invoices. Must be comfortable working across all *** including on air, digital, and social *** .
- Schedule and organize crews in relation to needs of creative, under the direction of the Production Manager as assigned.
- Collaborate with Production team members to ensure budget expectations are met, staffing needs are communicated, and post/deliverables are executed on time.
- Manage production paperwork including shoot reports and music reporting, legal guidelines, journalistic standards, and adhering to broadcast and show workflows.
- Act as liaison *** ween departments and divisions, to ensure that coding and information is communicated as needed.
- Support the Production Management and Accounting teams with various office and administrative responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsBasic Requirements:- 2+ years of professional TV experience with a talk show, news, journalism, or other relevant entertainment experience required.
- Experience with iNews or ENPS delivery systems preferred.
Desired Characteristics:- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Passion for television and entertainment news.
- Experience with daytime talk shows/entertainment news shows.
- Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and multitask a wide range of responsibilities.
- Understanding of current trends in the industry, social *** , OTT, etc.
- Ability to follow direction and work independently when necessary.
- Ability to work under pressure and stick to tight deadlines within a prescribed budget.
- Strong communicator who is able take feedback constructively and contribute to an environment of communication and accountability.
Additional Requirements:- Willingness to work overtime, and on weekends with short notice.
- Must be willing to work in Universal City, California.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be covered by Solutions, *** U's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.
